Hi, my name is Daniel. In March 2020, at the beginning of the global pandemic, I was searching for a meaningful way to use my time. Wanting to stay productive, I asked my mother for a creative outlet. She handed me a bag of beads and encouraged me to see what I could create. Using string from my arts and crafts supplies, I designed my first bracelet and discovered a passion that would shape my future. From that moment, I loved the art of jewelry making. It felt like entering my own creative world, where I could draw inspiration from my Egyptian heritage and my fascination with natural stones. Motivated to refine my craft, I invested my birthday and holiday savings into higher-quality materials and authentic gemstones, determined to elevate both the quality and artistry of my work. What began as a simple pastime quickly evolved into a business. At age 10, I founded String & Stones, transforming my passion into a structured entrepreneurial venture. I developed a business plan, strengthened my brand identity, and committed myself to continuous growth and improvement. My dedication was recognized when I was awarded a bursary from the Conseil des Écoles Catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), which enabled me to further implement and expand my business strategy. Today, String & Stones operates in five locations, fulfills custom orders, and continues to grow its customer base and product offerings. What started as a creative solution to pass the time has become a thriving enterprise one built on passion, cultural inspiration, and a commitment to excellence.
